MS Soccer Update 2:30PM!

The MS games today will only be 7/8 teams vs (home) Barre Youth Soccer both Boys and Girls. The Girls' game starts at 4PM and the Boys' game is actually now at 5:15 at the Mayo Fields.

This Thursday 9/25 @ Crosset Brook. There will be one bus taking the 6/7 and 7/8 Girls, and 6/7 boys team at 2:45. There will be another bus taking the 7/8 boys at 3:40 for the later game. One bus for the return trip.

Thank you to everyone for the flexibility in the schedule as soccer season can be difficult with the lack of Refs and changes that occur in the schedule on a weekly basis.

MS Schedules Up- Bus Times TBA- REFS NEEDED!

The schedules online are the most up-to-date at this time, including MS Sports. I am waiting on a JV Boys Soccer issue, so that is not posted at this time, but their first scrimmage is August 19th @ Hazen 4PM.

Bus leave times will be posted by early next week. What we need now are REFEREES! We need Refs for Freshman Soccer, JV Soccer, MS Soccer, and JV and MS Field Hockey. If you know anyone, or if you are interested in doing this yourself, we'd love to hear from you. Please call the Recreation Department for further information and available spots 253-6138 or Brian Kaplan @ 498-4578. This could be a great part-time/side-job for anyone who knows the general rules of the game.

STOWE TENNIS IS #1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS! Stowe Boys' and Girls' Tennis Teams each won the finals the other day! The Boys' beat Woodstock 7-0 and the Girls' beat #1 seed Burr and Burton 5-2. This is so exciting to have both teams victorious this year. Coaches Dick Bashaw, Kieran Killigrew, Joanna Graves, and Heidi Vietz should all feel VERY proud of their efforts.
